History
In March 1982, entrepreneur Stanley Pillay bought a rundown truck shell from a scrap yard. While holding a daytime job, at night Mr. Pillay built the very first truck that gave birth to Orbit Transport. In the late 1980’s, Orbit saw growth by supporting the logistics demands of the construction industry. In the 1990’s Orbit expanded operations into the Retail Sector and procured a fleet that specialised in local and cross-border Merchandising Supply Chain to the growing African markets. Over the years, we have over 40 employees but our passion and dedication remain strong. Working with us, you will find we still stay true to our humble roots.
